I was really bummed that I missed the eclipse last night due to clouds. The clouds finally lifted tonight so I had a chance to get a little bit of my moon fix. Now I have to wait until 2010 for the next one. This is an obvious shape, its a circle. HHCC welcome and wanted. TFL.

Nice details! Sorry you had clouds, seems like photographing the eclipse would be right up your alley. For all the bad weather we've had around here lately, we actually had a very clear night and had a great view of the eclipse.

Yes, I used a tripod. I thought that I could handhold it at first, since the shutter speed was pretty fast, but the shots weren't very clear. Once I got it on the tripod I was much happier with the results.

Yeah, it was a bummer that the clouds covered up the eclipse here in Utah. But I really like your shot of the moon. The detail is incredible. Love the composition, too.

this is perfect..i love shots of the moon, no matter how many i have i feel like everytime i see the moon i have to take a picture..i don't know what it is about it, but i love the moon!! great shot, crisp and clear.
