I went out to try out the new camera and lens. I am liking the fish-eye lens, it is a lot of fun. I really like the new K10D. These were both taken by bracketing 5 shots at 1 stop differences in shutter speed. Then they were merged in PS as HDR images. HHCC welcome and wanted.

I'm getting a fisheye lens soon thanks to the post of your wife's blog and Jess's too. I think it really works in shots likt this, glad you're having fun! I think your exposure looks good here and keeping the whole image in the frame shows nice composition.
That fountain is gorgeous, Travis!
That fountain is gorgeous, Travis!
I love that fisheye effect!
The second is my favorite. Those lens are wonderful, arent they? I may have to check into them, like I need one! my hubby wouldnt like that one! tfs.
This make me want a fish eye even more. These are great shots I likethem both.
LOVE the effect from the fisheye lens. Pretty building, too. Is that a church? Nice work on the HDR. Looks great.
I really like that first one. But what is with the trees framing the building? Silly landscape so it fights with the building for focus in your second shot.
Travis--really like the vertical omp with the fountain in the foreground and the sun on the temple. Nice!!!
OOOO...I really love the sky in the background. Something about the first one gives it a kind of spooky feel...perhaps its the angle.
Pretty! I'd like to see similar shots on a day without such harsh lighting/shadows. the building is very cool looking!
Beautiful!! I love the fountain, and the sky looks awesome!
